Has anyone signed up as a hosting and domain reseller?

Made any money at it? Trying to decide if it's worth it or not. Profit margin isn't the greatest, but cheap to sign up.

1. There can be a lot of money in it but its a hard industry as you need to know what you are doing or have the money or a partner who knows both the marketing side of the business and the tech side. It can also be worthwhile if you are a designer and just have clients you want to host their sites for a nice stream of recurring revenue. I started a small hosting company during college and loved it but as time went on it was hard being a one man show. Especially if there is a server problem and you are trying to get your customers sites up as quick as possible. I eventually sold it to a bigger host because of reasons like that but it helped pay for my college. btw, profit margins get better if you get your own server and the more domains you have for a domain reseller.
